The West Babylon School District stresses the importance of reading, especially for its elementary school students. Thanks to the PTA and a partnership with the Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) program, every Forest Avenue Elementary School student received one free book of their choice. A large variety of books were available and PTA representatives and teachers assisted the students in making appropriate choices.
