BaCCA announces yoga classes

The Babylon Arts Council announced that it will hold the Art of Yoga. Join certified yoga instructor Carol A. Long, RYT, in practicing Kripalu yoga. Kripalu yoga uses classical Hatha yoga postures and breathing techniques to help students enter a state of "meditation in motion." Heal, harmonize, and awaken your "whole" person in an atmosphere in which sensations, thoughts, and emotions can be experienced in a safe and relaxing environment. The sixweek 2008-2009 winter session will be conducted from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Old Town Hall, 47 West Main St., Babylon Village on Wednesdays Nov. 19, Dec. 3, 10 and Jan. 14 and 21. Wear comfortable clothing, bring a mat and eat only a light meal prior to class. The fee is $70 for members and $80 for non-members for the six week session. For information, call BaCCA at 631-587-3696 or visit: www. babylonarts.com
