Cell phones and driving are a dangerous mix

Editor: I would like to send a message to parents and neighbors. Please allow me a few minutes on my soapbox: Get off your cell phone while driving! This morning I drove through town and followed a parent driving all the way from Montauk Highway to the pool while talking on his phone. I passed several other cars in which the driver was doing the same thing. For a few bucks, you can invest in a hands-free device, and use it. I did not see young drivers on their cell phones; they were all parents. Please, it is your children and your childrens' friends moving through town. You are putting them at risk.
