Artist Raul Campos, longtime WI resident and artist
Mr. Campos immigrated to New York from Equador and spent 50 years with his wife, raising a family in West Islip. For more than 40 years, he worked as an architectural illustrator in the metro area, and was an accomplished painter and musician. According to his family, he leaves behind a loving legacy of compassion and understanding.
Mr. Campos leaves behind his wi fe, Pi lar ; hi s children: Maria, Raul, Frank, Carmen and Rick; 14 grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and his brothers, Armando and Otto. A memoriavisitationforMr. Campos was held at Lang-Tobia-Di- Palma Funeral Home, 406 Deer Park Ave., Babylon Village, March 5, 2008 followed by private cremation services.
