Bay Shore and Lake Ronkonkoma clean-up's to be held Keep Islip Clean (KIC) has two events organized for this Saturday, May 10. The Bay Shore Rail and Community Spring Cleanup will be held 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. This ninth annual event is hosted by the Bay Shore Community forum and will enhance the train station, which offers the first impression to visitors in Bay Shore. Meet at the Bay Shore Train Station south side parking lot. Call 516- 815-7310 or the KIC office at 631-224-2627 for further details.
The Lake Ronkonkoma Cleanup will have a 10 a.m. start time. Cleanup will include the waterway, shoreline, beaches and parking lots. Meet at Islip Town beach at Rosevale and Motor Avenues. Call KIC at 631-224-2627 for further details.
