Brentwood students artwork to be featured

Students from Northeast Elementary School in the Brentwood School District recently submitted artwork to the 2009 Come Go with Me Calendar.

Axel Mejia, fourth grader student at Northeast Elementary School, will have his artwork featured in the 2009 calendar. Axel, along with art teacher Ms. Sandra Curcio and Northeast Elementary School's building principal Kevin McWhirter, have been invited to attend the Come Go with Me award ceremony at the Long Island Children's Museum.

The following third grade students from the Brentwood School District submitted their artwork to the contest: Jocelyn Argueta, Ronald Argueta, Ashley Casillas, Bladimir Lara, Lesly Martinez, Amanda Vasquez, Jairo Paredes, Erika Aleman, Lilibeth Campos, Yennifer Rodriguez, Casandra Santana, Gabi Cruz, and Catherine Velasquez.
