Young Authors' Night at Brentwood School District
Each year, teachers, principals, and reading consultants are asked to select students who consistently dem onstrate excellence in their writing to represent each elementary and middle school. These are students who have found their "voice" through the craft of writing. Students were awarded certificates and books to celebrate their writing. The night also featured noted author and naturalist, Stephen R. Swinburne as the keynote speaker.
