      Life is the pits for far too many Pit Bulls. ASPCA statistics show that the Pit Bull and its permutations are more likely to be abused than any other breed; also more apt to be emaciated or chained. The glut of Pits in town shelters forms the tip of the iceberg. We don't see them all.
