Islip Art Museum to Hold Open Studio Days May 3rd and 4th The Islip Art Museum will host open studio days on Sat., May 3 and Sun., May 4, 2 to 4 p.m. so that the public can see the unusual work that has been created by three emerging artists during their four-month winter residences in the Carriage House. The three winter residents, Melissa Brown, Marie Lorenz and Jason Nickel, will be present to greet visitors and answer questions about their projects. This is a unique opportunity to explore artists' studios, see work in an informal setting and glimpse the stepby step creative process from idea to completion.
