Large crowd attends W.I. College Fair

West Islip School District and the high school counseling office co-sponsored a successful College Awareness Day and Fair on April 10. Administrators, faculty and staff wore their college sweatshirts/Tshirts during the day to initiate conversations with students. This event is designed to promote awareness of college opportunities while stimulating discussion about post-secondary planning.

College Awareness Day is held in conjunction with West Islip's Annual Evening College Fair in the high school. Over 100 college and university representatives met with students and parents. Armed Services also participated.
