Fun was on the line at Belmont State Park

In photo left, Heather Jack of West Babylon, fishes next to Kristian Schmitt at a sweet spot on the lake at Belmont State Park. They were part of a large group that attended the Family Fishing Festival at the park April 5. It was designed to introduce people to freshwater fishing. The park provided free loaner rods, and bait and held a Spring Fling casting contest.
