Forum on domestic violence awareness to be held April 30

The Suffolk County Coalition against Domestic Violence (SCCADV) is bringing domestic violence awareness and education to towns across Suffolk County. On Wed., April 30, 7 to 9 p.m. , the Brentwood Public Library, Second Avenue and Fourth Street, SCCADV will host an informational community forum that is free and open to the public.

This forum will feature SCCADV's new dramatic, improvisational, acting troupe People's Alliance for Violence Education (PAVE). PAVE features actors and actresses from across Suffolk County reenacting scenes of dating and domestic violence. Putting a face to dating violence, PAVE will allow viewers to see first hand the effects and power and control associated with domestic violence.

For more information on the community forum or to find out more about PAVE, please contact Suzanne at 631-666-7181, extension 324.
