Music Lovers Club to sponsor benefit concert
The Music Lovers Club will hold its annual benefit concert, Sun., April 27, 2 p.m. The concert will include the performances of the scholarship winners and presentations of their awards. In addition, the Hibernian Festival Singers, a four-part choral ensemble which fosters Irish culture through music, will be returning by popular demand to be an inspiration for the student winner and the audience. The event will be held at the United Methodist Church, 350 main St., Islip. Parking is on Church Avenue on the west side of the church and on Smith Avenue on the east.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and can be purchased at the door or in advance. For information call 631-227-3991.
