North Babylon runners compete
Ric DiVeglio, of North Babylon, and friend Barbara Stagnari are shown at the Empire State Building Run Up in February. He completed the 86 floors, 1576 steps in 19 minutes. DiVeglio is a veteran of 34 marathons/ ultra marathons and numerous triathlons. Stagnari did the run in 17 minutes and she recently completed the prestigious Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii. The New York Road Runners Club invited approximately 200 runners from 16 countries to compete in this event.
