Hans Kaiser, co-founder Nassau Tool Works in West Babylon
He was born in Great Neck to Carl and Emma on Nov. 18, 1934 and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. A talented ice skater and instructor, he used to skate on Argyle Pond as a youth. In addi- tion to living in West Babylon, Mr. Kaiser resided in Dix Hills, Babylon and West Islip before retiring to Florida in 2007. Mr. Kaiser was founder and president of Nassau Tool Works, Inc., an airplane equipment company on Lamar Street in West Babylon for 40 years. He loved to play golf, pool and the piano and spend time fishing on his boat. He leaves behind his children: Calvin and his wife Donna of Wilmington, North Carolina, Patricia Oldfield of Monaca, Pennsylvania, Lynne Troiano and her husband Sal of Palm Harbor, Florida, Elisa Stevens and her husband Mark of Henderson, West Virginia and Annelie Rudlaff and her husband Roger of Aliquippa, Pennsylvania; his step children: Desiree Xefos and Robin Sikorski of Lindenhurst; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; his cousins: Kurt and Jill Schaal; his first wife, Alice; and many friends. He was predeceased by his second wife, Cheryl. A Memorial Service was held March 1, 2008 at the Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home in Babylon Village.
