Virtual field trip to Hawaii
Second grade students from Frank J. Cannon Southeast Elementary School in the Brentwood School District recently went on a virtual field trip to Hawaii. Students read
Dumpling Soup by Jama Rattigan. In this story, a girl helps her family make dumplings for the traditional New Year's Eve meal celebrated in Hawaii. After reading, students were able to learn more about Hawaii by going on a virtual field trip to Hawaii using new Dell laptop computers.
