Police investigating serious motorcycle accident Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating a motorcycle crash at North Wellwood Avenue and 3rd Street, North Lindenhurst, Thurs., March 6. Police gave this account: At approximately 5:35 p.m., Roberto Marin, 29, of 66 Berry Street, Lindenhurst was driving his 2006 Suzuki motorcycle northbound on North Wellwood Avenue when he lost control and crashed to the pavement. No other vehicles were involved. A medical pre-condition is suspected for the crash. He was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center by North Lindenhurst Fire Rescue where he remains in critical condition.
The motorcycle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing.
