Lindenhurst Village
"I believe that this shows there is a lot of support, across the board, for what we are doing and how we run the Village," said Brennan in commenting on the endorsements. Village elections are Tues., March 18. The polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. "The feedback has been overwhelming from the Lindenhurst community on the great job Tom Brennan and his team are doing," said Robert Stricoff, Babylon Town Democratic leader. "We're proud to offer our party's nomination to the Brennan team." Brennan, a trustee at the time, was elected Mayor in 2004, defeating another trustee, Ray Doran. Brennan assumes the post of Republican Mayor Lynda Distler, who did not seek reelection. Lavorata was first elected in 2004. He was a member of the Lindenhurst Zoning Board of Appeals before running for the board and had worked to reduce the time it took for the board to render its decisions.
Caravella was a member of the Lindenhurst Middle School PTA when she first ran four years ago and has worked as a trustee to implement programs to elevate the image and promote pride.
