Caroline Buoncora, 8-year Whaler's Cove resident Loving mother, grandmother and wife Caroline Buoncora died Jan. 14, 2008. She was 87 years old, and lived in the Whaler's Cove condominium complex in Babylon Village since 2000. Mrs. Buoncora, who relished spending time with her friends and family, was a dedicated homemaker who lived in Ridgewood, Queens for many years before moving to Brentwood and finally Babylon Village. She leaves behind her husband, Nicholas; her children: Edward Sr. and Rosemarie Poirier; her sister, Alberta Kowalski; her children: Edward Poirier, Jr. and Patricia and Joseph Gallery; her great grandchildren: Alexa Rose and Julia Jean.
Mrs. Buoncora reposed at the Mangano Funeral Home in Deer Park on January 16 and 17, 2008. A Service was held in the funeral home with Rev. Baudler officiating. Interment followed in Calverton National Cemetery.
