Science of Spirituality to sponsor community health day

Science of Spirituality invites the local community to Community Health Day on Sat., March 15, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Science of Spirituality Meditation Center, 79 County Line Rd. This free event is an opportunity to experience life-changing seminars for healthy living.

Included in the day's activities will be interactive workshops presented by experts in the field of health and personal development. Among the many offerings will be programs on reducing stress, having healthy relationships, conflict resolution, vegetarian cooking, yoga and making meditation work for you. Some events will be in Spanish.

Community Health Day's workshops will address the multiple layers of our health: our physical, mental and spiritual well-being, The day also will also feature basic medical checkups and vegetarian meals. Everything is free.

Science of Spirituality is a multifaith nonprofit organization, dedicated to teaching the art of meditation and promoting human unity and peace. With centers throughout the New York area, it offers programs on personal development and healthy living to the community in English, Spanish and Hindi.
