Korean exchange students at Our Lady of Lourdes, West Islip

Our Lady of Lourdes School, West Islip, is part of a global exchange program and welcomes new friends from Seoul, Korea. School and parish families have opened their homes to students in grades four to eight, so they can have a true American experience day and night.

The Our Lady of Lourdes students are interested in learning about the exchange students culture, while teaching them about ours. They are also interested in how to speak and spell their names in Korean, as well as what it is like in their country and what games they play at home.

Shown in the photo is Louise Krol, with Korean exchange students and host families.
