Our Lady of Perpetual Help Lenten soup supper On Fri., Feb. 22. 7:30 p.m. Our Lady of Perpetual Help (OLPH) Youth Ministry will hold its fifth annual Lenten soup supper. This year's supper will be held at the OLPH School auditorium, 240 South Wellwood Ave., Lindenhurst. The soup supper is an opportunity to come together, pray and enjoy a simple meal of bread and soup donated by local merchants. This year's supper will benefit Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish in Wyandanch. Recently their rectory was severely damaged and the parish Outreach Center was destroyed by a fast-moving fire. The community is eager to recover from the tragedy but needs help. All of the money raised at the supper will go to the church's Rebuilding Fund. The special guest at the supper will be Father Bill Brisotti, the pastor of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal.
Tickets are $5 per person or $20 per family. Call the Youth Ministry office at 631-956-0938 to hold your spot. Tickets will also be available at the door.
