Teen dating awareness class at Brookhaven Town Hall

One out of every four students will be the victim of dating violence before they leave high school. On Thurs., Feb. 28, 3 to 5 p.m. at Brookhaven Town Hall in Farmingville, the Suffolk County Coalition Against Domestic Violence will host a community forum together with Brookhaven Office of Women's Services entitled When Love Hurts.

This forum will feature SCCADV's new dramatic, improvisational, acting troupe People's Alliance for Violence Education (PAVE). PAVE features talented actors and actresses from across Suffolk County reenacting scenes of dating and domestic violence. Putting a face to dating violence PAVE will allow viewers to see first hand the effects and power and control associated with dating violence.

For more information on the community forum or to find out more about PAVE contact Suzanne at 631-666- 7181, extension 3245.
