Dorothy Belfiore, retired Babylon Town worker

Dorothy H. Belfiore, who spent most of her life and career in Babylon, died Jan. 5, 2008 in the University Medical Center at Princeton, New Jersey. She was 85 years old.

Born in New Rochelle, New York, she lived in Babylon for many years before moving to Princeton, New Jersey in 1994. She retired after 25 years as a civil servant with the Town of Babylon.

Mrs. Belfiore leaves behind her children: Robert J., William A., Bethanne and Karen; her four sisters; one brother; and eight grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph C.

A Memorial Mass was said on Jan. 8, 2008 at St. Paul's Church in Princeton, New Jersey. Arrangements under the direction of the Mather- Hodge Funeral Home, Princeton, New Jersey.
