Kindergarten registration in West Babylon

Between Feb. 11-15, from 9:30 a.m., to 2:30 p.m., residents in the West Babylon School District who wish to register their children for kindergarten can do so in the principal's office of each elementary school, ( Forest Avenue Elementary School, 200 Forest Ave.; John F. Kennedy Elementary School, 175 Brookvale Ave.; Santapogue Elementary School, 1130 Herzel Blvd.; South Bay Elementary School, 160 Great East Neck Rd.; Tooker Avenue School, 855 Tooker Ave.).

As there are a limited number of slots, the district will be using a first-come, first-served system. If a parent's chosen school is full, they may be enrolled in a neighboring elementary school within the West Babylon School District.

When registering, the child, parents or guardians must bring an original birth certificate, proof of mandatory immunization, proof of residency, and single parents must bring proof of custody.
