Parents' Resource Center holding workshops

The Parents' Resource Center of the Deer Park School District offers community members an informal forum in which to discuss ideas and ask questions about any relevant issues or concerns they may have. The Center conduct workshops, seminars and discussion groups on topics chosen based on parental interest and needs. Programs are held at the Abraham Lincoln School, 300 Park Ave., Room 11, Deer Park. The following groups will be conducted in the near future:

•On Mon., Feb. 11, 9:30 to 11 a.m., there will be an exploration of enrichment activities, helpful for days when weather keeps us inside and upcoming school recess days.

•Lisa Lee from DDI will offer Parent Training: Autism Spectrum Disorder and Related Topics, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tues., Feb. 26.

The Fitness Club will meet weekly in the PRC (AL room 11), Thurs., Feb. 14 and Tues., Feb. 26, 10 to 11 a.m.
