Lindenhurst Kindergarten school registration Registration for kindergarten in the Lindenhurst School District will take place at each district elementary school on Tues., March 4, for children whose last names begin with letters A-L, and Tues/ , March 11, for children with last names beginning with letters M-Z. Registration will take place from 9:30-11 a.m. To enter kindergarten, a child must have reached the age of five on or before Dec. 1 of the year in which he/she plans to register. A parent or legal guardian must register all students. A pamphlet of pertinent information is available to all parents at the schools.
At the time of kindergarten enrollment, it is necessary to present the following documentation: the child's original birth certificate with raised seal; a health record (including a history of major diseases and an official report of immunizations); the child's social security number; and appropriate residence documentation.
