Ascension Lutheran Church rededication service
Ascension Lutheran Church has served Deer Park and surrounding communities for over 50 years. Three years ago, the congregation decided it was time to refurbish the church so it might be better used. The three goals of refurbishment were to repair what was broken, restore the church to the original beauty and to make changes that would make the church more welcoming to the surrounding communities.
Ascension Lutheran Church will be rededicated during services, Sat., Feb. 9 at 6 p.m. and Sun., Feb. 10, 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. All are invited to attend these rededication services. The church is located at 33 Bay Shore Rd., Deer Park. For information, call 631-667-4188.
