N.Babylon resident tapped by State for College Council

Paul F. Caroleo of North Babylon has been appointed to the Farmingdale College Council. The appointment was made by Gov. Eliot Spitzer and announced by Farmingdale State President Dr. W. Hubert Keen.

Caroleo has more than 20 years of experience in law enforcement, earning eleven Letters of Commendation from the FBI and 23 awards for Exceptional Police Work from the New York City Police Department. He also has been a staff investigator on the Presidential Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force, leading undercover operations in South America, and is a member of the New York City Police Honor Legion. He is currently an investigator for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office. He received a bachelor of science degree in health and physical education in 1978 from Ithaca College.

Caroleo lives in North Babylon with his wife and their three children.
