Lindy Junior Fire Dept. receives grant

Lindenhurst Mayor Thomas Brennan, Clerk-Treasurer Shawn Cullinane and Trustee Michael Lavorata were on hand at a recent holiday celebration to present the Lindenhurst Junior Fire Department with a $3,400 special grant for the purchase of new parade uniforms. The Junior Fire Department members have won many trophies for marching in parades and competing in tournaments with other fire departments.
