Southward Ho Club successful twosome
The pro-am team from Bay Shore Southward Ho Country club, consisting of head golf pro Michael Darrell and club president Edward Leitch, recently participated in the Ralph Lauren Polo Invitational Golf Tournament a the prestigious Metedeconk National Golf Club in Jackson, New Jersey.
Earlier in the year, Darrell of Holbrook and Leitch of Babylon, took first place in the PGA Pro-Club President Tournament for the Metropolitan Section. Both players shot career best rounds. Darrell posted a 62, tying the course record. Leitch said, with a wink, that his own score was slightly higher.
