Deer Park student outstanding in Science

Deer Park High School student Taeken Kim has received the Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award from the University of Rochester. Kim has been recognized for this award based on his performance as an outstanding high school science student.

If accepted to the University of Rochester Kim will be considered for the Bausch & Lomb Honorary Scie nce Scholarship worth $7,500 per year, totali n g $ 3 0 , 0 0 0 over four years. App licants for the scholarship are based on a multitude of criteria including a successful completion of freshman and sophomore year science courses and one semester of a junior year science course, academic excellence in science, rigor of courses taken in the sciences, and PSAT Math, SAT Math, and/or ACT Science/Math scores.
