West Babylon captures the spirit of the season with holiday toy drive

Students at the West Babylon Senior High School in the West Babylon School District are participating in a toy drive this December in a display of charity that reflects the true meaning of the holiday season. All the new, unwrapped toys that were collected were donated to the John Theissen Children's Foundation, a non-profit that gives the gifts to children across Long Island who are underprivileged or seriously ill.

West Babylon Senior High kicks off their efforts on the Monday after Thanksgiving break. It ended on December 19th, just in time to make it to the neediest on Christmas Day. All the high schoolers are encouraged to join in the effort and daily announcements were made over the PA system to remind kids of the project.
