Students donate to Islip's Animal Shelter
Students from the Brentwood School District recently provided assistance for the Town of Islip's Animal Shelter. The Freshman Center Art Club shown with their mentor Barbara Thomson donated food and put together gift baskets of treats for any future pet owners. Gift baskets included food bowls, chew toys, cat toys, bones, food, treats, cat pans with scoopers, and dog biscuits. Giving to the shelter was part of the annual "Art with a Heart" campaign that Thomson originally created.
