West Babylon Math Club 11th in NYS
The Math Club from West Babylon Senior High School in the West Babylon School District is ranked number 11 in the entire state and is number two on Long Island among the schools that compete in the New York State Mathematics League. Club advisor Christina Montalvo has guided a talented group through rigorous competition to achieve this feat.
Students Allison Matus and Brian Hicks of the club both have perfect scores this year. Allison also has a high cumulative score, making her tied for first place with 11 other contenders.
