D'Amaro secures funding for D.P. playground restoration

"Suffolk County Legislator Lou D'Amaro (D-Deer Park) recently secured funding to help cover the costs for the restoration of the Acorn Street playground in Deer Park. The restoration, which is a collaborative effort between the County and the Town of Babylon, includes the purchase of a new jungle gym, slides, swings, and safety mats. The playground is part of a larger Town park that includes the State Trooper Fabio Buttitta Memorial Pool and the John J. McMahon Roller Hockey Rink.
