West Babylon celebrates literacy education

Educators in the West Babylon School District hosted literacy expert Debbie Diller at a Literacy Garden Party on September 17. Diller came to the district to meet with West Babylon teachers Carol Varsalona and JoAnn Scott, who will be collaborating on a presentation at a national conference in December. In addition to meeting with the staff of West Babylon, Diller was treated to a performance by two of the district's musicians, Rebecca Seibert and Taralynn Kelly.
