On September 18th, West Islip High School senior Leslie Barth was the recipient of the Suffolk County Youth Achievement Award, presented by County Executive Steve Levy. Through her own personal challenges, she was inspired to engage herself in promoting education, mental and physical awareness, and positive ways to handle peer pressure.
