The students at Our Lady of Lourdes school in West Islip began this school year with the opening of a brand new state of the art science lab. A part of the school's Middle States Action Plan was to further improve the NYS Science scores of the fourth and eighth grade students. Through the hard work of many parental volunteers and their support, the lab became a reality.
