The organization's free Second Thursday Concert to be held Dec. 11, 7:30 will feature tenor and guitarist Pat Wictor with accompaniment by Cheryl Prashker on percussion. The event will be at Astoria Federal Savings Bank, 180 W. Main St., Babylon Village. Admission and refreshments are free.

On Sun., Dec. 14, 2 to 4 p.m. the Babylon Village Arts Council will present poets J.T. (Judy) Turek and Lorraine Conlin at the Babylon Public Library, 24 South Carll Ave.,Babylon Village. This "Poetry in the Village" program is free and open to the public. The two poets' readings will be followed by an open mike.
