The Deer Park School District has a Parents' Resource Center, located in the Abraham Lincoln School, 300 Park Ave., Deer Park. A number of activities have been scheduled for December and will take place in room11.

On. Thurs., Dec. 4, 9:30 a.m. Mor e 1, 2, 3 Magic - Video viewing and discussion of Dr Phelan's behavior management techniques and strategies. This second video in the series focuses on the introduction and encouragement of the behaviors we want.

On Fri., Dec. 12, 9:30 a.m. a stress management workshop will be presented by Shaun McLeod, AP JFK School. Learn techniques and strategies to identify and combat stress.

On Thurs., Dec. 18, 9:30 am. a parent support group will offer ongoing discussions of day-to-day, real-life parenting issues and holiday stress relief.
