The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) announced that volleyball player Danielle Skene, of West Babylon, has been named to the 2008 ALL-NJEAC Second Team by the league's coaches. She earned all-conference honors after leading SUNY Cobleskill to an 8-16 overall record. Skene averaged 2.28 kills and 1.83 digs per contest in 76 sets on the year. She had 19 blocks and 17 aces on the season during her second year with the program. The graduate of West Babylon High School was also an All-Mountain Valley conference Team and Second Team All-NJCAA Region III Team selection as a freshman.
