Suffolk County Helen Keller Services for the Blind is seeking volunteers in all areas of Suffolk County, and particularly northwest Suffolk, to spend one or two hours a week visiting blind, elderly people who are homebound. Visits will involve socialization, reading mail, and in some cases, transportation to the store or doctor.
