•The State University of New York at Oswego has announced that the following students have received bachelor's degrees: Kevin Gambino and Jessica M. Maltese of Lindenhurst and Alyssa M. Dettinger of Deer Park.

•Jessica Wagner, of Lindenhurst, a freshman at The University of Scranton, Scranton, Pennsylvania, has received a full-tuition Presidential Scholarship. Wagner is a graduate of St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School.

•Allison B. Gottlieb of West Babylon, a student at Binghamton University of the State University of New York, recently received a KPMG/Amy M. (Weiner) Krisburg Memorial Scholarship. The award, given to a School of Management accounting major in their junior year, recognizes academic merit, leadership ability and service to the community.
