On October 15, 2008 Lynn (Bolotin) and Mel Goldstein, long-time residents of Lindenhurst, now living in Delray Beach, Florida, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The Goldsteins were the owners of Boltin's Tuxedos and Travel, and were very active with the Lindenhurst Rescue Company, the Village of Lindenhurst and the former Lindenhurst Hebrew Congregation.

They spent their anniversary week in Orlando with their children Penny (Goldstein) and David D'Agostino, and Helene (Webster) and Walter Goldstein and their son Bradley. They had a party for 35 friends and family followed by a surprise party in Delray Beach with another 30 friends on Oct. 31.
