It is proposed that the project will be implemented during 2009 and that $3,300,000 in serial bonds will be appropriated in 2009 with the first interest payment in November 2009 and the maximum payment year being 2010. It is indicated in the map, plan and report that there are three projects in the 2008 Adopted Capital Program that will require serial bonds and the composite financial impact of those projects will be less than $14.30 per typical property in the Town of Islip and less than $13.25 per typical property in the Town of Babylon, Project Description The increase and improvement to Suffolk County Sewer District No. 3 - Southwest of the sludge system improvement project includes thickening and dewatering equipment. Dewatering and thickening equipment will be installed in the Sludge Disposal Building.
