Erin Guercio of Babylon and Jerome Burdi, Jr. of Oakdale were married July 6, 2008 at St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Babylon. The ceremony was conducted by Erin's grandfather, Deacon George Owen. The reception was held at the historical Thatched Cottage.

Erin is a graduate of St. Joseph's College and is currently working on her master's degree in education. Jerome is a graduate of Alfred University and now works as a middle school teacher in the Bayport-Blue Point School District. They live in Moriches.
