James Cooper, publisher of Babylon Leader
      Longtime Babylon resident and publisher and editor of the Babylon Town Leader Newspaper James Cooper died Sept. 24, 2008 after a long illness in Rome, Georgia. He was 91. Born in Babylon Oct. 9, 1916 to James B. II and Jean Elizabeth, he was a graduate of Babylon High School and Fordham Law School.

Jordan Nagler, Exec. Director of Babylon's Int'l. Student Exchange
      Jordan Nagler, who had served as the Executive Director of the International Student Exchange of Babylon since 2002, died suddenly Oct. 13, 2008 in Hollywood, California. He was 30. He was born on June 24, 1978 in Rockville Centre and had lived in Idaho, Missouri and Colorado.
