Five men arrested for patronizing prostitutes

Suffolk County Police today arrested five "Johns", people who solicited prostitutes, in Bay Shore Wed., Nov. 5. The arrests were made between noon and 3 p.m. after police in the Third Precinct Crime Section and Community Oriented Police Enforcement (COPE) officers conducted a "John" sting in response to neighborhood complaints.

Arrested for Patronizing a Prostitute 4th Degree were: Joseph Guercio, 70, of 78 East Lakeland St., Bay Shore; Candelario Gonzalez, 33, of 6 Fairdale Drive, Brentwood; John Busch, 36, of 429 East Main St., Bay Shore; Leonardo Rodas, 36, of 70 Jackson Ave., Copiague; Louis Massaro, 78, of 33 Mill Pond Lane, Bay Shore.

The five men were issued Field Appearance Tickets and will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
