Suffolk County Police have arrested three male juveniles for intentionally starting a fire at a West Islip business last month.

Suffolk County Police Arson Section detectives arrested three male juveniles Fri., Oct. 3, at 8:08 p.m. at the Third Precinct for the intentional fire started at the former West Islip Florist, located at 220 Higbie Lane. The fire that occurred on Sept. 25, at 6:42 p.m. caused extensive damage to the structure.

The juveniles were charged as Juvenile Delinquents, with Arson in the 3rd Degree, a class C felony. The juveniles, whose names were not released by the police due to their age, were processed at the 3rd Precinct and released into the custody of their parents for a future appearance in Family Court.
